But… imperfection is glorious. Like nature.
Nature doesn’t care if every flower is the same shape and size. Nature doesn’t care if the clouds today match some kind of ‘cloud template’. Nature just grows, blooms, expands, and then fades away and rots down at the appropriate season.
For me, yoga all about embracing the imperfect, rather than ‘getting it right’, and through that having an experience of being more whole.
Celebrating the dark ruins and the worn paths, along with the blossoms and the blue sky. Honouring the falling down as well as the standing up.
This not for you if you want to disown your ruins and spend the rest of your life blaming others and external circumstances.

Work your core in lots of different ways. Bring more vitality and aliveness to your middle! Expect some stretches, and a few abdominal exercises and 5 mins of quiet rest time.
You will need: your yoga mat, and a couple of cushions or blocks.
Listen to your body’s needs: do this practice in a way that feels good to you and give yourself permission to modify anything that’s not appropriate for you. Suitable for beginners. DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE for Pregnant people.
