Description

Saturday 19th January, 10am – 4pm

Holyhead St Mary’s Church Hall, Longford Road, Holyhead LL65 1TR

Feeling sluggish and stagnant this Winter?  This January yoga day will get your circulation going!  Taught in a heated environment, and using Forrest yoga poses and sequencing, you can expect to sweat and get your blood moving. Perfect for setting your intentions in a good way at the start of 2019.

Morning class 10am-12.30pm – will be a deep session focusing on intention, basic yoga moves, flow and spinal movement, in order to explore both raising the energy and then sinking into deep rest. Open to all including beginners.

Afternoon class 1.30pm-4pm – will be a more intense session where you will work with strengthening the upper body and working some deeper hip openers, in order to explore your relationship to your own inner fire. Open to all except complete beginners.

Come either to either a full day or half day of yoga, and get your cells, tissues and bones moving. Please bring some healthy food to share in the lunch break 12.30-1.30pm.

The classes will be led by local yoga teacher Claire Mace who teaches a weekly yoga class on Mondays at 7pm at St Mary’s Church Hall. She is an experienced teacher who is clear and calm and will give modifications for both beginners and more advanced yoga practitioners. Her main influences are Ana Forrest’s Forrest Yoga and Judith Lasater’s Restorative Yoga.

Please bring:

  • Your yoga mat
  • Two large blankets
  • A yoga towel or regular towel
  • A water bottle
  • Something healthy for lunch to share with the group
