Sometimes simple things make a massive difference. Adrian used to get persistent pain in the outside of his lower back above the hip.
“I also hurt my lower back a few times through weightlifting with poor form, and basically not being strong enough in my core.”
“What made a huge difference to that was some simple movements, like doing 30 seconds in plank three times a day.”
“It also meant I felt better when carrying shopping or wearing a backpack.”
“There is a huge benefit in connecting to your arms and your legs and strengthening your core and lower back.”
“And there are ways of making a pose like plank easier, so you can build up and make progress in stages.”
Adrian is passionate about sharing simple practices that can help regular people get out of pain and move more comfortably through their lives.
Throughout the Autumn, he’ll be sharing his wisdom at three different yoga workshops, that you can attend either in-person in Holyhead or remotely via Zoom.
